Waste Water Treatment Plants
Amec Services has demonstrable experience in the installation of equipment, ductwork and pipework at various Water Corporation facilities in Perth.
Subiaco - Upgrade
Amec Services was responsible for the mechanical installation, pipe fabrication and installation for the upgrade of the classifiers.This work was undertaken for the John Holland Alliance.
Beenyup- Odour Reduction Project
Amec Services was responsible for the fabrication and installation of all pipe supports, installation of fibreglass duct work and oxidation tank covers, installation of all mechanical items including agitator, pumps, sludge dewatering systems and mixers, fabrication and installation of the odour vent stack and fabrication and installation of a temporary air line from the blower house to the oxidation tanks and subsequent replacement of this with an underground supply line. This work was undertaken on a lump sum basis for the BWS alliance comprising of Leighton Contractors, Black & Veitch, GHD and Water Corporation.
Amec Services, under a separate contract were also responsible for the fabrication and erection of structural steelwork, piping and installation of vessels (fibreglass and steel) and mechanical items associated with the Chemical Dosing system for both Majortech and Envirotech - both organisations working directly for BWS.
Woodman Point- Odour Reduction Project
Amec Services were responsible for the installation of fibreglass vessels and duct work, as well as the fabrication and installation of associated pipe work and installation of pumps and fans for the Theiss Alliance at Woodman Point.
All of this work was completed to the complete satisfaction of the respective alliances and the Water Corporation.
